KCC Dong Nai Factory Project – A Major Milestone for KCC Korea in Vietnam

The KCC Đồng Nai factory project, under KCC Corporation from Korea, stands as one of the largest projects to date and also marks one of the very first in the Southern Vietnam market.

After more than a year of implementation, the project has entered its final stage of completion, marking the end of a challenging yet rewarding journey. With in-depth technical expertise, extensive construction experience, and youthful dedication, the project management team and skilled workers have overcome numerous challenges to deliver results that exceeded all expectations for this flagship development.

The project’s success is not only reflected in its high-quality construction and professional image, but also in the unwavering commitment to occupational safety and health protection for the entire workforce.

Occupational Safety Procedures at the KCC Dong Nai Project

To maintain the highest safety standards, the project management team worked closely with subcontractors, strictly applying occupational safety regulations:

1. Comprehensive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Every worker is fully equipped with safety helmets, full-body double-hook harnesses, protective clothing, life vests, safety boots, protective glasses, gloves, and respirators. All equipment meets international standards to ensure maximum safety for each work position.

2. Clear and Visible Safety Signage
In all areas with potential accident risks, prohibition, warning, and emergency instruction signs are fully installed in easily visible locations, helping workers identify hazards and comply with safety protocols.

3. Electrical Safety on Site
All power sources, electrical cabinets, and sockets are carefully inspected and safety-sealed before use. Standard-compliant electrical cables are hung at least 2 meters above ground. Only certified electrical technicians are permitted to install or repair electrical systems, preventing short circuits and fire hazards.

4. Safety in Steel Structure Installation
As one of the most hazardous construction phases, workers undergo health checks before working at heights, use lifelines, and carry personal tool pouches. Lifting equipment, safety nets, and warning barricades are deployed around the installation area to ensure absolute safety.

5. Fire and Explosion Prevention
Fire extinguishers are placed in highly visible and accessible locations across the site. Workers are trained in fire prevention and firefighting techniques, smoking is prohibited, and welding or cutting is only carried out at safe distances from flammable areas.

Conclusion

With stringent safety standards and professional execution, the KCC Dong Nai Factory Project stands as a clear testament to the capability and credibility of the construction team. This is not only a large-scale project but also a benchmark for occupational safety management in industrial construction.
